KU Wichita Pediatrics works together for the health of future generations of Kansas children through our dedication to educating tomorrow's pediatricians, making new discoveries and providing the care kids need close to home. How We Serve You
- 70% of our pediatric residency graduates become pediatricians in Kansas.
- We focus on areas of need specifically for Kansas kids, like mental health.
- We have the only infant mortality research center in Kansas, and it's located in Wichita.
- We are the largest pediatric faculty employed in Kansas and our department is the academic home for approximately 100 physicians representing more than 25 pediatric medical and surgical specialties.
- In Wichita, we have the region's only specialists in pulmonary, metabolic genetics, child abuse, infectious disease, adolescent medicine, hematology/oncology and child development.
- We collaborate with more than 30 local, regional and national partners aligned with our mission.
Navigating Child Sexual Abuse
We believe workplaces and homes should be positive, safe, and productive environments. Unfortunately, not all workplaces or homes achieve this standard of excellence. Providing resources to victims of sexual harassment or abuse is important to Conatus3 as we seek to help people lead more fulfilling lives.
Cordisco & Saile, a law firm, is passionate about helping victims when it comes to child sex abuse. The family and friends who surround these children that have been victimized can obviously be shellshocked that this can happen. That's why we wanted to make a guide on navigating child sex abuse, which includes information on signs of abuse, how we can prevent it, how victims can seek justice, and more.
